Man Flashes Young Woman On Brooklyn Subway Platform: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — A man exposed himself to a young straphanger—and performed a lewd act—while waiting for a northbound C train earlier this week, according to police.

On Monday, a man approached a 24-year-old woman waiting at the Van Siclen Avenue train platform around 10 a.m. and began talking to her before suddenly exposing his genitals, officials said.

The man then grabbed the woman’s hand and placed it on his groin, police said. As the train pulled into the station, she moved to board, but he grabbed her buttocks as she stepped onto the car.

He then fled into another train car and disappeared, authorities said.

No injuries were reported, police said.

Officials released an image of the suspected lewd man.
