Man Found Dead Inside Burning Boat In BK: Police
EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene, police said.
BROOKLYN, NY — The body of a man was found inside a burning boat in Red Hook this past weekend, police said.
On April 27, emergency personnel responded to a report of a fire at a parking lot near 253 Conover Street at about 4:54 a.m., according to police.
Firefighters extinguished the fire – originating from a boat on a trailer –and found a man inside, who was unconscious and unresponsive, police said.

EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene, police said.
The FDNY fire marshal is investigating what caused the fire, and the medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
