Medellín-Based Mad Radio Opens New Nightclub In Williamsburg: See Inside
Mad Radio NYC, located at 395 Wythe Ave., is the platform's fourth venue worldwide, and features an intimate 85-person space.

BROOKLYN, NY — The Medellín-based cultural platform, Mad Radio, debuted its newest location in Williamsburg this week — a space they say is where music, art, workshops, radio, and neighborhood-driven initiatives coexist under one roof.

Mad Radio NYC, located at 395 Wythe Ave., is the platform's fourth venue worldwide, and features an intimate 85-person space that blends the energy of underground nightlife with the warmth of a community hub.
A bar, club, transmission booth, gallery, record store, and creative studio are all under one roof, Leo Herrera, founder of Mad Radio, told Patch.

New Yorkers visiting Mad Radio NYC can expect house, electro, indie dance, dark disco, and underground subgenres, supported by a rotating mix of local and international DJs and artists.
“New York has always set the pace for the world,” Herrera said. “It has an intensity — a mix of cultures, styles, and sounds that you feel in your skin. Mad Radio is exactly that: a frequency where everything can coexist without labels. Coming here felt organic. New York demands that you stay alive, and Williamsburg in particular has an underground pulse that matches how we build community — through music, through real connection, through the culture.”

Each venue broadcasts its own channel with curated music, artist sessions, and live transmissions from its in-house booth —all streaming on madradio.co and Mad Radio’s YouTube channel, Herrera added.
The design of the Williamsburg location focuses on artist-built elements, and an emphasis on sound quality. Powering the music in the venue is a Danley Soundlabs system, ensuring a high-quality audio experience for guests.
Among the future programming at Mad Radio NYC include, weekly themed nights, resident artists, live radio broadcasts, vinyl sessions, art showcases, workshops, collaborative content, NYC-focused digital initiatives including playlists and artist interviews.
Mad Radio NYC also features a focused cocktail program with guest bartender collaborations, alongside snacks and small plates designed for late-night gatherings.
Mad Radio NYC is open Wednesday through Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. to guests 21 years old and up.
