NYC-Based Little Spoon Launches in Target Stores Nationwide
Fastest-growing direct-to-consumer kids' food brand in the U.S. is Target's largest food and beverage launch to date
Little Spoon, the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer kids’ food brand in the U.S., just launched in Target stores nationwide, marking Target’s largest food & beverage launch to date and a major milestone for the NYC-based brand.
Founded in 2017 by partners Angela Vranich and Ben Lewis, Little Spoon is a household name trusted by millions of families and feeds more than 3% of U.S. babies. Headquartered in SoHo, the team reimagines what kids’ food can look like — fresh, healthier, and built for modern parents.
“At Target, we’re committed to making everyday moments easier and more meaningful for families, and that’s made possible through partners like Little Spoon,” said Tony Roman, Group Vice President of New York Target stores. “As a trusted New York City-based brand focused on nutritious, freshly made meals and snacks for every stage of childhood, Little Spoon delivers the kind of quality, convenience, and care our guests expect.”

Little Spoon is bringing exclusive innovation to Target shelves, from the only patented nugget (Super Chicken Dippers) to refrigerated yogurt pouches with no added sugar. Super Chicken Dippers (the only frozen chicken nugget made without seed oils, and the only patented chicken nugget - for its spoon shape) are selling twice as fast in New York City than the entire U.S. Other top products for New York City include Kale Apple Puffs, Green Dream Smoothie, and Banana Pitaya Rings.
To celebrate this next chapter, Little Spoon is rolling out its bold new Built for This campaign across New York, highlighting the messy, multifaceted realities of parenting today with humor, authenticity, and placements that meet parents where they are.
