New heritage walk at Kingsborough Houses celebrates community history and Barthé frieze • Brooklyn Paper (brooklynpaper.com) — A new “Migration” heritage walk at Kingsborough Houses in Crown Heights now illuminates the campus with 35 steel sculptures celebrating residents’ stories and the Great Migration. Fabricated in Brooklyn and funded by city and foundation support, the installation highlights the restored Richmond Barthé frieze while transforming pathways and open space into a community-driven art experience.
