NYPD and the Medical Examiner are working to determine how long the remains were there, the cause of death, and the identity, and say the investigation is ongoing.

This is Brooklyn's Most Dangerous Intersection (bkreader.com) — Flatbush drivers and pedestrians should know that Flatbush Avenue and Avenue H has been identified as Brooklyn’s most dangerous obstructed intersection, based on serious crashes over the last three years.
