The pop-up concert celebrating the rapper's birthday was shut down because the crowd was too large.
BROOKLYN, NY — Rapper Playboi Carti's pop-up show in Crown Heights on Saturday night drew such a large crowd that the New York City Police Department canceled the show, according to the rapper's Instagram.
The show was meant to be in honor of the rapper's 29th birthday, which was on Friday.
According to Carti, more than 10,000 people showed up to the Brooklyn Warehouse, which is a 3,000-person venue.
