Pro-Palestinian Protesters Converge At Brooklyn Museum

BROOKLYN, NY — Pro-Palestinian protesters have reportedly converged at the Brooklyn Museum Friday evening, with some demonstrators entering parts of the building, according to social media posts and police.

Protesters began attempting to enter the museum around 4:50 p.m., according to social media posts.

A number of arrests have been made at the museum, according to police.

A tweet from the group 'Within Our Lifetime' read: "Shut the Brooklyn Museum Down!" An accompanying video depicts an individual on the building's roof, and a large crowd can be seen.

Also, videos on social media show protesters hanging a “Free Palestine” banner on the museum’s roof.
