Rash Of Brooklyn Robberies Traced To Single Suspect, Police Say
A man believed to be behind at least a dozen robberies across Brooklyn is now the focus of an NYPD manhunt.

BROOKLYN, NY — After a string of at least a dozen robberies in just seven weeks throughout Brooklyn, the NYPD is asking New Yorkers for help identifying the man they say is behind the spree.
The as-yet-unidentified robber is still on the loose, with police connecting him to 12 crimes dating back to early October, the most recent reported on Nov. 30.
NYPD officials released new pictures of the suspected crook, asking for the public's help to track him down.

Here are more details on each of the 12 robberies, two of which occurred on the same day, according to police.

On Oct. 13, 2025, a 35-year-old woman was behind the counter at 557 Atlantic Avenue when a man walked in, threatened to hit her, and grabbed cash from the register. He then took off on foot and disappeared into the area. The woman wasn’t injured, police added.
Incident No. 2
On Oct. 23, 2025, a 30-year-old woman at 537 Atlantic Avenue opened her register when a man suddenly reached over the counter, grabbed the cash inside, and bolted out the door. He fled on foot, and no injuries were reported.
Incident No. 3
On Nov. 5, 2025, a 29-year-old woman at 663 President Street was asked by a man to exchange money. When she opened the register, he reached over the counter, grabbed the cash, and shoved her to the ground before running off. He fled on foot, and no injuries were reported.
Incident No. 4
On Nov. 8, 2025, a 25-year-old woman at 2230 Church Avenue was confronted by a man who pretended to have a weapon and ordered her to open the register. After she complied, he grabbed the cash and ran east on Church Avenue toward Bedford Avenue. No injuries were reported.

On Nov. 9, 2025, a 23-year-old woman at 350 Flatbush Avenue was asked by a man to exchange money. When she opened her register, he reached over the counter, grabbed the cash, and ran off. No injuries were reported.
Incident No. 6
On Nov. 20, 2025, a 23-year-old woman at 1 Flatbush Avenue was depositing cash into an ATM when a man snatched her wallet and money from her hands. He ran toward the Nevins Street subway station. No injuries were reported.
Incident No. 7
On Nov. 22, 2025, a 29-year-old woman had just withdrawn money from an ATM when a man shoved her to the ground and stole her cash. He fled north on Court Street. She suffered minor injuries.
Incident No. 8
On Nov. 24, 2025, an 18-year-old woman opened her register when a man reached over the counter, grabbed the money inside, and took off on foot. No injuries were reported.
Incident No. 9
On Nov. 26, 2025, a 36-year-old woman at 501 Atlantic Avenue was threatened by a man who pulled out a knife and took cash from the register before running off. No injuries were reported.
Incident No. 10
On Nov. 28, 2025, a 22-year-old man at 539 Flatbush Avenue was confronted by a man armed with a knife, who took money from the register and fled north toward Flatbush Avenue. No injuries were reported.
Incident No. 11
On Nov. 28, 2025, a 28-year-old woman at 680 Fulton Street was asked by a man to exchange money. He then pulled out a knife, grabbed cash from the register, and ran off. No injuries were reported.
Incident No. 12
On Nov. 30, 2025, a 22-year-old woman at 80 Dekalb Avenue refused a man’s request to exchange money. He jumped over the counter, displayed a knife, grabbed cash from the register, and fled. No injuries were reported.
Authorities describe the suspect as a man about 6 feet tall with a slim build and a dark complexion.
