Ukrainian Diner Veselka To Open First BK Location Next Month: Report

BROOKLYN, NY— Veselka, the famed Ukrainian diner, is expected to open its first Brooklyn location in Williamsburg next month, according to a report.
The restaurant will open on June 5 at 646 Lorimer Street, spokesperson Justin Birchard confirmed, to Eater New York.
Veselka, following the June 5 opening, will have three locations in New York City, which includes the original diner in the East Village and one in Grand Central Terminal.

The new restaurant will have a 40-seat dining area, and the rest of the space will be used as a commissary kitchen for the diner’s other locations, Eater New York reported.
