17-Year-Old Brownsville Woman Last Seen in Early May: NYPD
Chante C. Lewin, 17, was last seen by her mother at about 8:30 a.m. on May 12, the NYPD said.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — A missing Brownsville teenager (pictured above) hasn't been seen by her family for nearly a month, the NYPD reported Tuesday.
Chante C. Lewin, 17, was last seen at about 8:30 a.m. on May 12 leaving her home, located at 58 Blake Ave., police said.
According to an NYPD spokesman, Chante has a history of running away from home.

After the teenager left in May, her mother initially believed she was with her boyfriend, according to the spokeswoman.
However, the mother recently learned her daughter was not at that location, the spokeswoman said, and reported her missing on June 7.

Detectives describe Chante as a black female standing about five-feet-seven-inches tall.
