BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — A man was fatally shot in front of the Brownsville Houses on Monday, according to police.

James Huff, 56, was found shot in the chest in front of a a building at Blake Avenue near Rockaway Avenue just after 6:30 p.m., according to police.

He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he died from his injuries, police said.

Huff was found just a few blocks from where he lived on Strauss Street, according to police.

There were no arrests in the homicide as of Tuesday morning.
