6 Hurt In Apartment Complex Fire Near Brownsville Border: FDNY
The East 93rd Street fire broke out on in a three-story building early Wednesday morning, fire officials said.

BROOKLYN, NY — Six people were hurt in a fire near the Brownsville border on Wednesday morning, according to officials.
The blaze broke out in the first floor of a three-story apartment complex on East 93rd Street between Church Avenue and Avenue A around 7:30 a.m., fire officials said.
It took nearly a half an hour for firefighters to bring it under control, according to officials.

Six people who were hurt by the flames refused further medical attention, officials said. Their condition was unknown.
The fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, officials said.
