80-Year-Old Shot And Killed In Brooklyn Deli, NYPD Says
The man was shot in the chest Tuesday evening, police said.

EAST NEW YORK, NY – An 80-year-old deli worker was shot and killed in an East New York bodega on Tuesday, police and reports said. Abdulla Yafaee, who lived on Ocean Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, was shot in the chest inside the deli at 797 Stanley Avenue at 6:28 p.m., the NYPD said.
He was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Nobody had been arrested as of Tuesday night, police said.
The address is for the 797 Deli and Grocery. NBC New York reported that the store was owned by Yafaee.
