Brownsville Gang Bust: NYPD Releases Dramatic Footage of 'Hoodstarz Takedown'

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN— The NYPD released a video Wednesday that promotes its recent gang bust in the Brownsville and East New York areas that resulted in the arrest of 35 people with alleged gang ties.

The video shows officers in bullet-proof vests conducting "take-downs" as well as officers arresting alleged gangbangers like it's a kind of commercial. In the background is some kind of creative commons hip-hop track. See for yourself:
