Brownsville Neck Stabbing: Police Seeking 27-Year-Old Suspect

The NYPD said it believes Ravely Mathurin stabbed a man in the neck and stole his cellphone and $100.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a 27-year-old suspect they believe stabbed a 47-year-old man in the neck and took his cellphone and $100 in cash in Brownsville in November. They are looking for Ravely Mathurin, who they describe as 6-foot-4-inches and 170 pounds. The incident occurred on Friday Nov. 4 at around 10:30 p.m. around Livonia and Rockaway avenues, cops said. The victim was taken to the hospital, and is in stable condition, according to police.
