Caribbean Restaurant Opens On Brownsville's Pitkin Ave: BID
Anrals, which just got a storefront makeover, serves up savory dishes and has a bakery, according to the BID.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — A new Caribbean restaurant on Pitkin Avenue has so many delicious treats, even employees have a hard time choosing from the menu, they told the BID.
"Everything is good!," an employee told the Pitkin Avenue Business Improvement District when asked to pick a favorite menu item at Anrals, which opened at 1626 Pitkin Ave. earlier this month. “Try’em all!"
The new eatery, found between Thomas S. Boyland and Bristol streets, includes a full menu of savory dishes and its own bakery, according to the BID's new business announcement.

The employee, called Ms. Millz in the post, specifically highlighted Anrals' chicken patties, which she contends are the best in Brownsville. The savory menu also includes curry chicken, oxtail, steamed fish, fried dumplings, plantain porridge and more, she said.
On the bakery menu, customers can find homemade peanut brittle, pastries desserts and a selection of fresh juices. Millz said customers should try out the ginger beer or cucumber juice.

"Stop by or call to place an order!" she told the BID.
Anrals opened with the help of a storefront renovation from New York Homes and Community Renewal and the city's Small Business Services.
The Business Improvement District uses funds from the two agencies to continue its Pitkin Renaissance Program, which focuses on revitalizing the corridor's streetscapes with building and facade improvements, according to the organization.
