East New York: Have You Seen The 'Down's River' Robber?
He walked in to the Caribbean restaurant, whipped out a gun, and stole $100 in cash, cops said.
EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a man who they say stole $100 from a cashier at Down's River restaurant in the East New York area on Wednesday night.
According to the cops, the suspect entered Down's River Caribbean food restaurant at 517 Stanley Ave., at around 10:35 p.m., whipped out a gun, and demanded money. The cashier gave him $100, and he left with it to an unknown destination, the NYPD said.

In surveillance video released by the NYPD, the robbery looks like it all happened quite slowly and calmly.
The NYPD describes the suspect as a black man who's approximately 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black jacket, a black-and-white scarf and black gloves during the robbery, police said.
