Knife-Wielding Man Asks Cops To Shoot Him In BK Precinct: Video
Police used a stun gun to subdue the man in East New York's 75th Precinct Sunday morning, video shows.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — A man carried a knife into an East New York police station Sunday morning, asked cops to take his life, and was quickly subdued with a stun gun, according to video, police and reports.
The 26-year-old man walked into the 75th Precinct on Sutter Avenue and Linwood Street clutching a long knife about 8:30 a.m., according to police and New York Post sources.
"Cops face split second, life & death decisions every day," wrote NYPD Chief Terence Monahan in a Tweet. "These cops reacted quickly."

Video first posted by the Sergeants Benevolent Association shows the man tapping his knife at his side as cops surround him in the precinct lobby.

“The government is f---ing me," the man, who may suffer from bipolar disorder, reportedly said in Spanish. "I want you to shoot me."

Instead, officers used a stun gun on the man, who can be seen dropping to the floor.
He was arrested and taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor, the Post reported.
