Leg Discovered Blocks From Where Torso Was Found In BK: NYPD
It's unclear whether these cases are connected.

BROOKLYN, NY — A human leg was discovered in Brooklyn on Monday only a few blocks from where a torso was found last week, according to police.
The severed left leg, which still had a sock on, was found in a discarded tire on Jamaica Avenue near Vermont Street around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, according to police.
The grisly discovery was just a few blocks from where a woman's torso — missing a head, arms and legs — was found inside a garbage bag in a shopping cart near Pennsylvania and Atlantic avenues last Thursday.
