Man Beaten, Robbed By Group In Cypress Hills, Police Say

Police are looking for the five men involved in the April 15 attack.

CYPRESS HILLS, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a group of men who attacked a man and stole his cellphone in Cypress Hills two weeks ago. The group of five approached the unsuspecting man from behind at the corner of Fulton and Chestnut streets around 4:50 a.m. on April 15, the NYPD said.

One of the unidentified men used an object to smack the victim, 41, on the left side of his head, then took his cellphone before fleeing, police said.

The victim had cuts on his eye and ear and was taken to Bellevue Hospital to be treated, police said.

Surveillance cameras captured image of the five men involved in the attack, who are described as white and Hispanic.
