Missing 10-Year-Old Disappeared from Canarsie Playground: NYPD

Samaya Mackey was last seen Sunday afternoon inside a park by the Bay View Houses.

CANARSIE, BROOKLYN — A missing 10-year-old from Canarsie was last seen on Sunday in a park next to the Bay View Houses, police said.

Samaya Mackey (pictured above) was seen at 5 p.m. on Sep. 11 inside the park, located at the intersection of East 102nd St. and Seaview Avenue.

Detectives describe Samaya as standing about five-feet-seven-inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. She has a thin build, a dark complexion, black hair, and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans, blue and green sneakers and a white t-shirt.

Her father reported her missing on Monday, and told police she is in good physical and mental health.
