Police Searching For Man Tied to Fatal East NY Shooting
Brownsville resident Ramel King, 33, was killed early on the morning of May 8, according to the NYPD.

EAST NEW YORK, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a man (pictured above) connected to the May 8 shooting death of Brownsville resident Ramel King.
On that day, police found King, 33, at about 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of Williams Place and Atlantic Avenue, according to the NYPD.

He had been shot in the chest, police said, and was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

This alleged crime took place in the NYPD's 75th Precinct. According to official police statistics, through May 8, major crimes in the 75th were collective down about two percent compared to the same time period last year.
A total of 10 homicides were reported in the 75th through May 8, the same number as during that period in 2015.
