STILL WANTED: Teens Who Allegedly Shot Teen Outside Crown Fried Chicken

Nearly a week after surveillance photos caught 5 teens shooting and beating up a teen in Brownsville, no one has been arrested, cops said.

BROWNSVILLE, BROOKLYN — Five teenagers who beat up and shot another teen multiple times in front of the Rockaway Avenue Crown Fried Pizza and Chicken are still on the loose nearly a week after the incident, cops said. There have been no arrests in the ongoing investigation, an NYPD spokesperson told Patch on Friday.

At around 7:40 p.m. in front of the fast food restaurant at 152 Rockaway Ave., five teens in hoodies with their faces half covered approached an 18-year-old and punched, kicked and shot him multiple times and escaped, police said. The victim was taken to a local hospital where he was in stable condition, police said.

A worker at Crown Pizza and Chicken told Patch police took surveillance video recorded of the incident by the restaurant. "I heard from the guy who was working the night shift, they told me some people came and shot the one guy," the worker said. He had no further information about the incident.
