22-Year-Old Bed-Stuy Man Shot Dead in Bushwick
A 22-year-old Bed-Stuy resident was fatally shot in Bushwick early Friday morning, according to the NYPD.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A 22-year-old Bed-Stuy man was shot dead in Bushwick early Friday morning, police said.
Terrell V. Henry was shot in the neck and back outside 220 Covert St. shortly before 1 a.m., according to the NYPD.
Emergency responders took him to Wycoff Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

No arrests had been made as of Friday morning, and a police investigation into the shooting was ongoing.

Henry was killed in the NYPD's 83 Precinct, which patrols Bushwick. Through Aug. 7, major crimes in the 83rd were collectively down about 2 percent compared to the same time period last year.
A total of eight shootings with nine victims had been recorded in the 83rd through Aug. 7, compared to five shootings with seven victims during the same period in 2015.
