Elderly Woman Missing In Bushwick For 5 Days: Cops

78-year-old Juana Echevarria was last seen at her home on Willoughby Avenue, police said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Elderly Bushwick woman Juana Echevarria was still missing Thursday, the fifth day she hadn't been seen, cops said. Echevarria, 78, was last seen Saturday, Jan. 21 at around 2 p.m. in front of her home on Willoughby Avenue, police said. She is described as Hispanic, 4-feet-9-inches tall, 80 pounds, with brown eyes and salt and pepper hair.

Police released a clearer photo of Echevarria on Thursday and are asking anyone with information in regards to this incident to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
