VIDEO: In Bushwick, Man Stabs Teen With 'Sharp Object' On J Train, NYPD Says

Video of the incident was captured by an onlooker, police said.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A verbal dispute on the J train led to one man stabbing another as the subway approached Chauncey Street station, eyewitness video captured. The suspect stabbed the 19-year-old victim in the lower torso with a sharp object, according to the NYPD. The incident occurred on Saturday, Jan. 21 at around 3 p.m.

The victim went on his own to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced to be in stable condition, police said. Cops are looking for the suspect captured in the video. They describe him as a black man around 23-35 years old with a "dark complexion." He is around 5-feet-8-inches tall, weighs around 250 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair, police said. He was last seen wearing yellow work boots, a gray hoodie and blue jeans.
