A Handful of Garlic Knots

On Tuesday night, just after the snow started coming down, I was hungry and it was way past dinner time. I was on my way home from a Brooklyn Bridge Park Community Advisory Council , and stopped in at for a fix.

I ordered enough for two people: plain slices, spinich and cheese stromboli's and garlic knots. Wow, the garlic knots...

Perfectly seasoned with lots and lots of garlic, these knots were perfection. They were hot and chewy, yet crispy on the outside. The perfect antidote to a cold, snowy night.

Now, my preference for the knots, especially over the rich stromboli, was surprising to me for one particular reason: knots do not include my favorite ingredient, cheese.

But now that I remember, there was likely a light dusting of parmesan on the knots... So there you go.
