Another MacBook and iPod Stolen

Reports from the 76 Precinct

This week in the ; two burglary's and a robbery. Just like , Apple electronics were stolen.

Burglary:

A MacBook worth $1,200 and an iPod worth $350 were stolen from a 38-year-old female's apartment on 4th Place between Court and Clinton streets on Friday, Feb. 18 sometime between 9:15 a.m. and 6:45 p.m., cops said. The thief entered the apartment through an opened rear window, accessed by a fire escape. No arrests were made.

Burglary:

A 67-year-old woman left the front door of her Tompkins Place building unlocked overnight on Thursday, Feb. 17. The next day at 8 a.m., a wallet with $200, credit cards and identification, was found to be missing. Police spoke to neighbors, who heard nothing. No arrests have been made.

Robbery:

A 49-year-old male was walking on Columbia Street between West 9th and Huntington streets on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 8:30 p.m. and was jumped by two males. They punched him in the face multiple times, cops said, injuring his nose and left eye, before taking $120 from the victim's pocket.

Police took the victim and a witness in a cop car to do a neighborhood sweep, resulting in the identification and apprehension of two men, age 18 and 19. They were arrested by Police Officer Pedro Jiminian of the 76 Precinct.
