Arrest Made in Boerum Hill Murder

A Harlem man is facing murder and robbery charges after being arrested Tuesday for a Nov. 8 homicide in Boerum Hill. 

Jermaine Butts, 36, is charged with second-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder in the second degree, second and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon (loaded firearm and piercing ammo) and first-degree robbery.

On Nov. 8 Butts allegedly shot and killed William Jordan, 43, of Boerum Hill, and injured up to three others in a home robbery on Warren Street.
