Boerum Hill Bank Robber Hits HSBC Bank Branch: NYPD
The May 6 robbery netted the culprit $225, according to the NYPD.

BOERUM HILL, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for a man (pictured above) who allegedly robbed an HSBC Bank on May 6.
Early in the afternoon last Friday, the man entered the bank branch, located at 122 Flatbush Ave., and passed a teller a note demanding money, police said.
He was given $225, according to the NYPD, after which he fled.

Detectives describe the suspect as a black male, between 30 and 40 years old, standing about 5-foot-five-inches tall.
He has a beard, and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with a Chicago Bulls logo, dark colored jeans, and a black hooded sweater.

This alleged crime took place in the NYPD's 84th Precinct. According to official police statistics, through May 1, major crimes in the 84th collectively decreased nearly 20 percent compared to the same time period last year.
That included a five percent drop in robberies (38 reported incidents compared to 40 during the same period in 2015) and a 22.5 percent reduction in grand larcenies, which are robberies targeting property worth at least $1,000 (172 incidents vs. 222 in 2015).
