Police have identified one or more possible suspects based on witness testimony and are in pursuit.

Earlier on Monday, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams dragged an empty casket up the steps of Brooklyn Borough Hall and called for an end to gun violence in Brooklyn. “Our children deserve to live; our adults deserve to live,” he told a crowd of residents and reporters that had gathered. “All lives matter.”

Three people were killed and approximately 20 were injured in a spree of shootings throughout the borough over the weekend prior. Early Sunday morning, two shooters were caught on tape firing indiscriminately into a backyard house party in East New York, injuring 13.
