In June, 20 members graduated from our first Domestic Worker Community Organizing Class. Over the three-month program, members learned how to build effective teams, be in generative conflict, facilitate meetings, conduct a one on one, create a power map assessment, learn about systems of oppression, and more! They also launched four committees (Membership, Worker Rights + Enforcement, Circles, and Campaigns) that will help build our political power, and advance our base building and leadership development goals! Read below to learn more about the course and hear from participants.
