'Banksy' Graffiti Art Hits Red Hook, Gets Tagged by Rival

Renowned graffiti artist Banksy, known for his red balloon and many other pieces around NYC, recently created his latest version of the red balloon in Red Hook, according to AnimalNewYork.com.

In the afternoon, however, the piece had an addition apparently from rival artist 'Omar', who has reportedly tagged Banksy pieces before.

'Girls' Star Buys Carroll Gardens Brownstone for $2 Million

Jemima Kirke, star of the HBO show 'Girls', is moving to Carroll Gardens.

According to a report in The New York Observer, Kirk recently forked over $2 million for a 3,360 square-foot Brownstone at 408A Clinton Street.

Cobble Hill Couple Launches New Board Game

Back in 2010, Creative Cobble Hill couple Sara Farber and Bryan Wilson decided to put their expertise and background together to launch a toy and game company.

Farber was a 15-year content developer for kids’ toys and games, while Wilson has created TV commercials, print ads and social media campaigns for M&Ms, Duncan Hines, AT&T and many other household names. Now in 2013, their company Galactic Sneeze officially debuted their first game, 'Schmovie'. 

One Killed, One Hospitalized After Barclays Center Subway Incident

One person was killed by a train at the Atlantic Avenue/Barclays Center subway station Oct. 10. Police said the victim, a woman, may have jumped in front of the train.
