Coffee Roaster Catches Fire at D'Amico's
FDNY has confirmed a fire broke out at the cafe at 3:21 p.m.

A small fire broke out in the kitchen of D'Amico Foods in Carroll Gardens on Wednesday afternoon, according to FDNY.
At approximately 3:21 p.m. the FDNY received a call that there was a fire on the first floor of the three-story building located at 309 Court St.
Responders were on the scene within 4 minutes, FDNY said, and were able to contain the flames as of 4:07 p.m.Â

Confirming reports that one individual had been removed from the cafe on a stretcher, FDNY stated that they are currently treating one person at the scene for minor injury, likely smoke inhalation. As of press time no one had been transported to a local hospital.
