Movie lovers, pyro geeks and any other curious spectators available Wednesday afternoon can witness a fireball exploding off of Columbia Street as part of a film shoot, confirmed 's Craig Hammerman. The District Manager tweeted the following note on Tuesday afternoon: <blockquote> "The filming of a movie on 8/22, 2-4pm, will simulate an explosion with a fireball effect on a property near Columbia Street and Gowanus Bay in Brooklyn. The stunt will happen once and FDNY will be on site." </blockquote> No details were given upon inquiry of what film will be blowing things up. Carroll Gardens Patch will attempt to capture a photograph of the fire in the sky. But if any residents succeed in doing so, send in your photos to share with neighbors by uploading them to the gallery or e-mailing them to joanna.prisco@patch.com
