Community Board 6 holds an informational meeting regarding bar/restaurant regulations Tuesday night at the 78th Precinct on Sixth Avenue and Bergen Street. Representatives from City agencies and local precincts will be on hand to answer questions in respect to noise, smoking, backyard usage, garbage and other related issues.

The hosts a workshop on Tuesday sure to interest burgeoning intellectuals. This is the first in a four-session series. What's "this whole "communicating" thing" about anyway?

 

Peace Starts at Home hosts a workshop at P.S. 29 on Wednesday that will analyze the relationship between mothers and step mothers. First, a play by Isidore Elias, where gridlock between a mom and step mom is broken, will be performed. A panel will follow.

 


Heights and Hills, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services to Brooklyn’s elderly and their families and friends, celebrates 40 years. The benefit celebration, complete with theatre event, is Thursday night. Support Heights and Hills!
