Person Hit, Killed By F Train At Jay Street-Metro Tech
The person jumped around 2:30 p.m.

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN, NY — A person jumped in front of an F train at Jay Street-Metro Tech on Friday afternoon and was killed, officials said.
Around 2:30 p.m. Friday the person was hit by a Manhattan-bound F train, an NYPD spokeswoman told Patch. The person was pronounced dead on the scene, police and the FDNY said.
The NYPD spokeswoman told Patch it was "probably a suicide."

F train service was briefly disrupted afterward but had been restored back to normal, with delays, by 3:30 p.m.
