Walking down Sackett Street near Third Avenue on Monday we spied a classic summer scene: Someone had unlocked a fire hydrant and it was shooting out a delicate spray onto the surrounding pavement.
With temperatures above 90 degrees the past few days, it was a little too tempting to resist.
