Update: Brooklyn Restaurants and Bars Rebound From Sandy
In the wake of the storm, here is an updated list of the known restaurants and bars planning to be open tonight and tomorrow.
While the extent of Hurricane Sandy's damages are as yet unknown, we've received updates from various Brooklyn restaurants and bars that stayed open or are in a state of recovery.
Here is a list of establishments that were spotted open by Patch staff or that have stated via social media that they will welcome your business tonight and/or tomorrow.
Bed-Stuy Patch

Black Swan Coffee, Bombay Heights, Colador Cafe, Essence Bar & Restaurant, Halsey Street Grill, Hing Hung Kitchen, Liquid Oz, Le Paris Dakar, Melanie's, Mike's Pizza, Peaches (limited menu), Rustik Tavern, Saraghina are open.Â

Carroll Gardens Patch
Bar Great Harry, Bien Cuit, Buttermilk Channel, Brooklyn Farmacy, Camp, Frankies Spuntino, Maybelle's, Mazzola's, Mocha Bagels, Prime Meats, SottoCasa, Stinky Bklyn, Ted & Honey, Two8Two Burger, Rucola, Zombie Hut, and 61 Local are all open.
While the Boerum Hill outpost of Mile End is open for business, we have learned that the bakery and smokeshop in Red Hook has suffered severe damages.
Seersucker will reopen tomorrow, Wednesday October 31 at 10 a.m.

Cafe Madeline, Connecticut Muffin,  The Farm on Adderly, Ox Cart Tavern, Sycamore, Qathra are definitely open.

Fort Greene-Clinton Hill Patch
Brooklyn Tap House, Buffalo Boss, Chez Oskar, Connecticut Muffin, Damas Falafel House, Der Schwarze Kölner, Olea, Putnam's Bar, The Smoke Joint, 67 Burger are open.

Bierkraft, Baluchi's, Café Dada, Fort Reno Provisions, Freddy's Bar, Flipster's, Greenwood Park, Monro Pub, Naidre's Café, Loki, Palo Santo, Tea Lounge, The Rock Shop, Zito's Sandwich Shoppe are all open.

Ample Hills, Bearded Lady, Branded Saloon, The Crown Inn, Franklin Park, Minor Arcana, Penny House, Sit and Wonder, Soda Bar, The Vanderbilt, The Way Station, 24/7 Diner on Flatbush, 606 R&D  are all open.

The Double Windsor, Hamilton's, Le Paddock, Piccoli To Go, Steeplechase Coffee, Shenanigan's Pub are open.
