Car Slams Into Pole, Sparks Fire: Police
The crash took place in East Moriches Tuesday night, police say.
EAST MORICHES, NY — A car crashed into a pole, downing wires and sparking a fire in East Moriches Tuesday night, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, the crash took place at Frowein Road and Montauk Highway at 10:42 p.m., causing a road closure until 11:18 p.m.
No injuries were reported, police said.
