Here are the top stories today in Center Moriches-Eastport:

1. On Tuesday, Autumn Tucker, Ashley Mariana and Kiaralyn Delgado all returned to the Little Flower Children's Services Facility in Wading River, Riverhead Police Department said. No reports on why or how they left the facility. (Riverhead Patch)
2. Tuesday night a man was physically assaulted during an Aquebogue burglary. At 7:40 p.m., a 911 call came in from a resident of Hobson Drive, who said that his home had just been burglarized by an unknown person who assaulted him and removed money from his bedroom. The person then fled the scene in a gray pickup heading east on Hubbard Avenue. The resident sustained minor injuries and was treated at Peconic Bay Medical Center, police said. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Riverhead Police at 631-727-4500. (Patch)
3. Daniel Campbell, now 20, of Montauk, was charged after a hit-and-run crash in Amagansett on Aug. 10 that led to the death of an 18 year old. After Campbell drove off the victim was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he died, police said. Campbell was indicted on one count of leaving the scene of an accident without reporting, a felony, according to his attorney, Edward Burke, Jr. (Patch)
