1. Founder Of JetBlue Launches Breeze Airways At MacArthur Airport. Airport officials announced at a Monday morning press conference that Breeze Airways will be coming to Long Island's regional airport, which local officials are planning to majorly overhaul with terminal upgrades, a campaign to attract more airlines and a rail connection to the Long Island Rail Road. Breeze was created to fill a gap in connections between secondary, regional airports. So far, the carrier flies to 16 destinations, mostly on the East Coast but also as far west as Texas. Norfolk, Virginia and Charleston, South Carolina are the first two cities that will get direct service, beginning on Feb. 17. (News 12 Brooklyn)
2. Priciest Home Sales In East Moriches. The three highest-priced home sales in East Moriches last month ranged from $704,000 to $925,000. The priciest East Moriches home sold in November was a 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath waterfront contemporary on 1.9 acres at 12 Inlet View Path that sold for $925,000. A 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath Victorian on .93 acres at 9 Dogwood Lane fetched $900,000. (Long Island Business News)
