1. 2022 St. Patrick's Day Parade is just around the corner! The parade takes place Sunday, March 13 at 2 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, March 27. The Grand Marshal this year is Kenneth Johnson! High school seniors interested in participating in an essay contest to become our 2022 Irish Princess, complete the form. For those wanting to participate in the parade, there is a form for that too. 2. The Suffolk County Police Department is accepting donations at each of the SCPD precincts and headquarters through Friday, Jan. 14 for the survivors of a New York City apartment building fire that killed 17 people and hospitalized dozens. The items needed are nonperishables, such as clothing, sheets, baby items and more. (Newsbreak)
3. Suffolk County Police posted a sketch of the man killed a car crash in Medford on Jan. 4. Police said the victim has been identified as 29-year-old Saul Lozada of Patchogue. The police are thanking the public for their participation in the search to identify Lozada. (News 12 Long Island)
