Center Moriches High School Robotics Team Wraps Impressive Season

Infernobotix Finishes Sixth on Long Island, Fifth at Regional

Center Moriches High School’s robotics team, Infernobotix, recently completed a truly stellar season. The team finished sixth place at the Long Island Regional and fifth at the New York Tech Valley Regional.

Infernobotix consistently showcased exceptional skills, resilience, and collaboration, traits that were instilled in the team by head coach James Spinaris. Coach Spinaris demonstrated passion and unwavering dedication that elevated the program. His leadership, vision, and commitment to student success set out to transform the team into a family. Alongside assistant coach Madison Hoffer, they created an inclusive and supportive environment where students from all backgrounds could thrive and take pride in their work.

"Watching our students compete this season was truly inspiring. The connections they formed, their teamwork, and the incredible skill it took to build and code such a successful robot made me so proud. Infernobotix represents the very best of CMHS,” said Marissa Mangogna, principal of Center Moriches High School.
