Mother Finds Daughter Shot, Killed In Car Outside LI Home: Police

MORICHES, NY — A woman was found shot and killed in Moriches Friday morning, police said.

According to Suffolk County police, the incident took place at the Tall Oaks Apartments parking lot on Long Tree Lane at t 8:20 a.m.

A woman called 911 after finding her daughter, Rebecca Roth, 33, dead of a gunshot wound in a Hyundai Elantra in a parking lot outside their residence, located at the address, police said.

Roth was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
