Three Men Hold up Central Park Bike Rider with Gun
The 23-year-old surrendered his backpack to the three robbers.

A 23-year-old riding his bike through Central Park became a robbery target for three men, according to the NYPD.
The victim was riding his bike home in the park near Fifth Avenue and 105th Street at 12:50 a.m. Saturday when three men, one brandishing a handgun, demanded money or property from him, police said. The victim gave up his backpack, which contained $60 and a debit card.

The victim was not injured.

A security camera captured a picture of the three suspects.
It was just last week when a 26-year-old claimed to be robbed in Central Park of his backpack by three teens. He claimed three $8,000 Cartier bracelets were inside. Upon further questioning, police discovered that the man was lying and made up the entire incident. Eric Danko was charged with filing a false police report.

Crime is down 33 percent in Central Park year-to-date from 2015, with robberies down 60 percent, according to CompStat numbers.
