Chappaqua Driver In Head-On Crash Was 4 Times Legal Limit: NCPD
The 58-year-old Westchester woman was charged with felony driving while intoxicated after a two-month-long investigation.

NORTH CASTLE, NY — Police say alcohol played a part in a terrifying head-on crash on SR-120.
On October 2, shortly before 6 p.m., the North Castle Police Department started to receive 911 calls reporting a head on crash at the intersection of SR-120 and Nannyhagen Road. Officers on scene reported one of the drivers was trapped inside the vehicle and was unconscious. With the assistance of the Armonk Fire Department, the driver was extricated from the vehicle and she was rushed to an area hospital.
Police say she had a blood alcohol content of .37 percent, more than four times over the legal limit.

After a two-month investigation, the North Castle Police Department filed a felony complaint with the Westchester County District Attorney's Office. The 58-year-old Chappaqua woman was charged with felony driving while intoxicated.
She was arraigned in the North Castle Town Court and is due back in court on March 5.
