Chappaqua School District Considers Budget
Members of the Chappaqua school district community have chance to weigh in on school budgets before voting on May 16.

CHAPPAQUA, NY—Residents of the Chappaqua School District are considering the proposed 2017-18 school district budget.
Statewide school district budget elections take place May 16.
The proposed 2017-18 budget totals $119,571,688, which would raise the tax levy by 1.26 percent. The budget was previewed by the Board of Education in January before being presented on March 1.

Budget presentations will take place throughout March before adoption on April 5, followed by a public hearing on the budget scheduled for May 3. All budget-related meetings take place at 7:30 p.m at Horace Greeley High School at 70 Roaring Brook Road in Chappaqua.
Additionally, the PTA is sponsoring two community forums on the budget on March 7, one at 9:30 a.m. and another at 7 p.m., at the Robert E. Bell Middle School auditorium at 50 Senter Street in Chappaqua.
