Three Goats Gruff Without Bedford Owner
Three goats have wandered onto an Indian Hill property and are being kept safely until they are claimed by their owners.
A trio of goats have apparently wandered from their home in Bedford onto a neighboring property on Indian Hill Road.
The animals showed up at some point over the weekend at the home of Peter and Alison Kaplan, said Kathy Boyle, who is a Bedford resident and friend of the Kaplans. They were first found by a caretaker, who oversees other animals—including llamas and emus—on the property.
The location of their home is in a residential area near several horse farms, but she said she can't recall previously seeing goats in the neighborhood. The property is also across the street from the trails that lead up to Hook Road and connecting to St. Matthew's Church.

Boyle said they managed to herd the goats into the tennis court, where they are munching on hay and water set out for them.
The town of Bedford hadn't received a report of missing goats, said Jim Genovese, assistant building inspector. They wouldn't necessarily have a list of goat owners, either, he added.Â

"The town code requires a homeowner have one acre for the first two goats plus an another half-acre for each additional goat," he said, noting there were plenty of large-sized properties in town where goat ownership was possible.
If you have any information related to the owner of these (very cute and smart, according to Boyle) goats, let us know in the comments below.
